PATTERN INFORMATION
The Misty Meadow Top is a pretty, asymmetrical top that can be made with or without the flounce. It is worked top-down, starting with Judy’s magic cast-on. You start with the front panel, working double increases to shape the asymmetrical neckline, then increasing for the armhole at the opposite side as well. Let the front panel rest while working the back panel the same according to the same principle. Then join work to knit in the round. The body is finished with an i-cord edging. Finally, you can pick up and knit stitches for the flounce which is worked in the round and finished with an i-cord edging.
The Misty Meadow Top has a negative ease of 0-5 cm/ 0-2 inches in the smaller sizes and 0-8 cm/0-3 inches for the 3 larger sizes. It will fit sizes 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-102 (102-110) 110-120. You ought to make the size that fits your chest circumference minus 0-5 cm/0-2 inches. For example: your chest circumference is 92 cm, thus you should make a size M (92-5 = 87). For size M this means a negative ease of 3 cm.
