This pattern is written for 5 sizes and 4 yarn weights. Yarn substitutions can be made to make this hat in different weights. It can be made using 1, 2, or even 3 colors. Use one color for the full hat, use a different color on the brim, or make the 2 tone version (brim can be either the main color or a third color to give even more variety).
