PATTERN INFORMATION
The Flamingo Set is a pretty knitted set consisting of a vest and a skirt. They can be styled together or separately. The Flamingo Skirt is a fun skirt with a fade effect worked in garter stitch. It is perfect for playing around with your yarn scraps and getting some cool color combinations. The Flamingo Skirt can also be trimmed with a feather edge at the bottom, or you can keep it classic without feathers.
The skirt is worked from the top down and worked flat, so you simply knit all the way. You start with the folded edge. After this, you work increases for the skirt to shape to the hips, from here you can adjust the length so that it suits you. Finally, the work is sewn up.
The Flamingo Vest is a pretty vest worked in garter stitch with buttons and a collar. The vest is worked from the bottom up and knitted flat. The vest is then divided into two front panels and a back panel. Each part is finished separately and the shoulder seams are sewn up. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline for the collar.
