PATTERN INFORMATION
Bubblegum Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a circle. It begins with 1×1 ribbing and continues in stockinette stitch. After knitting the bottom part of the sweater, stopping where the bottom of the sleeve opening should start, the stitches are divided into the front and back panel by putting the stitches on hold. Then continue the stockinette stitch of the front and back panel separately to create the openings for both sleeves. Sleeves are worked from bottom up in a circle and attached to the body in the end. After stitching together the sleeves to the body, the stitches for the neck are picked up with the circular needles and knit in the round in 1×1 ribbing.
The colour of the sweater is made by combining three strands of yarn at all times. Change one strand of yarn at a time to achieve the gradient look. The colours are very customizable. You can have more than 3 colours in rotation!
