PATTERN INFORMATION
The Alum Bay wash set was inspired by the beautiful coast of the Isle of Wight. The three stripes reflect the uniquely colourful mineral-rich sands, which are often layered in bottles as classic keepsakes.
The simple wavy texture – known as even moss stitch – is a combination of two basic stitches, making this a beginner-friendly pattern.
Each cloth is worked as one piece for added strength and durability. You’ll be working in rows, then creating a small hanging loop in one corner and continuing around each edge with a small picot border.
